Our prefelt is produced using extra fine merino wool tops, the addition of Tencel gives our prefelt a refined appearance and a soft, natural sheen. Tencel is a perfect alternative to silk — a more sustainable, animal-friendly, and also more affordable option.

Fine Merino prefelt is a versatile material highly valued in fiber arts, especially for felting and textile-based crafts. Prefelt is wool that has been partially felted, meaning the fibres are lightly entangled, making it easy to manipulate and integrate into other projects.

Its fine texture ensures a smooth finish, whether used for wearable art, wall hangings, or functional accessories.

Prefelt is sent folded, the creases are caused by this packaging and are not a product defect and go away once the product is worked.
