Australian Consumer Law

Customers may have a statutory right to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law. The Australian Consumer Law contains consumer guarantees which provide consumers with a basic, guaranteed level of protection for goods and services that they acquire. Our goods and services may come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. The rights that you may be entitled to under our policies are in addition to your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Place of Purchase

If you made a purchase from Country Chicks Creations directly (including at CountryChicksCreations.com or at an event) this policy applies to you. Your receipt will show the Country Chicks Creations logo at the top, includes a link to this policy towards the bottom, and typically would have been sent to your email address from shop@CountryChicksCreations.com.

If you purchased any of our goods or services from elsewhere, please contact the original place of purchase for assistance. We are unable to assist with purchases made elsewhere.

Proof of Purchase

Customer’s who purchased from our webiste can retrieve their proof of purchase from the Orders page when logged-in.

Change of Mind

Under the Australian Consumer Law customers are not entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund where they have changed their mind, found the goods(s) or service(s) cheaper somewhere else, decided they didn’t like the good(s) or service(s), or had no use for the good(s) or service(s).

Misuse

Under the Australian Consumer Law customers are not entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund where they have misused the good(s).

Colour

Colours may vary from any samples, previous purchases, within a batch, batch-to-batch, or within an order, due to the nature of natural fibre and the dying process. Colours may also appear differently in person from our website as a result of the settings of your screen.

Packaging

Product packaging may vary from what is depicted on our website.

Return Shipping — Australia

We will provide you with a pre-paid Australia Post postage label.

Customers must drop-off returns at a Post Office only (do not use a Posting Box), obtain proof of lodgement, and send a copy of the proof of lodgement to us. We are not liable for any lost, damaged, or delayed returns, if proof of lodgement is not obtained and provided to us.

Inspecting Returned Goods

Upon receipt by us, if the good(s) are found not to have a ‘major problem’ or ‘minor problem’ as defined by the Australian Consumer Law, we reserve the right to deduct any return postage fees incurred by us plus a 50% restocking fee from any refund(s).

If the good(s) recieved do not match the return approval (e.g., we approve the return of ‘X’ but recieve ‘A’ from you), we reserve the right to withhold any refund(s) and invoice the customer for any return postage fees incurred by us.
